The Astros selected Lambert to start Friday against the Cardinals after losing four-fifths of their Opening Day rotation to injury (Brown, Javier, Imai, Bolton). Houston's desperation means a long leash, and Daikin Park is significantly more pitcher-friendly than Coors.
