  • May 19, 2026·Issue #031·Kyle Teel·Injury Report

NEW SETBACK: Right LCL sprain suffered Saturday on a Triple-A rehab swing (cleat got stuck). 3-6 weeks of rest/rehab now expected. The original hamstring strain had him out since March. A 60-day IL transfer is likely. Realistic MLB return is late June at the earliest.

  • May 19, 2026·Issue #031·Seranthony Domínguez·Closer Watch

Third blown save and the third multi-run outing in a row in his new CWS role. The role is fragile — Brandon Eisert and Jordan Leasure are the next-up options if the White Sox decide to make a change. Hold but monitor.

  • May 16, 2026·Issue #028·Davis Martin·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Chicago Cubs (5W-1L, 1.62 ERA)

  • May 15, 2026·Issue #027·Kyle Teel·Stash of the Week

Teel is completing his AAA rehab assignment (hamstring) and is expected to be promoted within the week. He's hitting with a .375 OBP and a near-10% barrel rate at Triple-A — elite for a catcher. The White Sox have been platooning at the position; Teel will get the bulk of starts behind the plate once he's up. With Cal Raleigh now on the IL, two-catcher leagues need a stash, and at 11% rostered Teel is the priority pickup. Top-15 C rest of season ceiling once he debuts.

Started vs Chicago Cubs (2W-3L, 3.68 ERA)

  • May 10, 2026·Issue #022·Davis Martin·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Seattle Mariners (5W-1L, 1.64 ERA)

  • May 8, 2026·Issue #020·Sean Burke·Waiver Wire

Burke has quietly emerged as Chicago's #2 SP behind Davis Martin — 2.72 ERA with elite command (1.8 BB/9) and a locked rotation spot. Pitcher List's recommended add. In a White Sox season that's exceeded expectations, Burke is a top-40 SP rest of season.

  • May 8, 2026·Issue #020·Sean Burke·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Seattle Mariners (2W-2L, 2.72 ERA)

  • May 7, 2026·Issue #019·Sam Antonacci·OBP Risers

    OBP 0.290 → .378 (Δ +0.088)

  • May 5, 2026·Issue #017·Austin Hays·Injury Report

NEW: 10-day IL retroactive to May 2 with a left calf strain. No timetable per Justin Mason at FanGraphs. Hays was hitting .250 with 3 HR — moderate fantasy hit; calf strains can linger 4-8 weeks if not handled carefully.

  • May 4, 2026·Issue #016·Davis Martin·Pitcher Matchups

Started @ Los Angeles Angels (4W-1L, 1.95 ERA)

  • May 4, 2026·Issue #016·Tristan Peters·OBP Risers

    OBP 0.277 → .346 (Δ +0.069)

  • May 3, 2026·Issue #015·Miguel Vargas·Waiver Wire

Vargas has flipped a nightmarish start into a 1.131 OPS over his last 52 PA with 4 HR in 11 games. The contact quality has stabilized and the role is locked. Top-15 3B going forward in a White Sox lineup that's quietly improved. If somehow available, claim immediately.

  • Apr 30, 2026·Issue #012·Miguel Vargas·OBP Risers

    OBP 0.289 → .366 (Δ +0.077)

  • Apr 30, 2026·Issue #012·Seranthony Domínguez·Closer Watch

Closer Monkey confirms Domínguez maintains the closer role despite a 1.417 WHIP — Grant Taylor and Jordan Hicks are the next-up arms. Bryan Hudson got Monday's save situationally, but the regular role goes through Domínguez. Hold if rostered, but don't pay closer prices.

  • Apr 29, 2026·Issue #011·Grant Taylor·Closer Watch

Bryan Hudson, not Taylor, got the 9th Monday and earned his first career save. Could be matchup-driven, but worth watching whether the White Sox formally pivot. Hudson is a deep-league speculative add; Taylor stays in the mix for now.
