Started vs New York Mets (2W-6L, 5.33 ERA)

  • May 22, 2026·Issue #034·Robby Snelling·Injury Report

NEW: Will undergo Tommy John surgery, ending his 2026 season and likely costing him most of 2027. The UCL sprain suffered last week was confirmed as a full-surgery case. The 22-year-old LHP was one of the more promising rookie arms in baseball before the injury.

  • May 19, 2026·Issue #031·Braxton Garrett·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Atlanta Braves (0W-1L, 33.75 ERA)

  • May 18, 2026·Issue #030·Max Meyer·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Atlanta Braves (3W-0L, 3.21 ERA)

  • May 17, 2026·Issue #029·Eury Pérez·Pitcher Matchups

Started @ Tampa Bay Rays (2W-5L, 4.94 ERA)

  • May 14, 2026·Issue #026·Braxton Garrett·Stash of the Week

Snelling's UCL sprain pulls Braxton Garrett back into Miami's rotation for his first MLB start since June 17, 2024. He missed 2025 with his own Tommy John surgery and rehabbed through the spring; his minor-league rehab line was strong (3.40 ERA / 25 K in 23 IP at Triple-A Jacksonville). Pre-injury, Garrett was an emerging top-50 SP for the Marlins in 2024. The 28-year-old lefty isn't a sure thing — his velocity has come back but his command has been spottier than pre-surgery. Speculative add in 14+ team leagues; in 12-team, watch his first two starts before claiming. Top-50 SP rest of season ceiling if the command tightens up.

  • May 14, 2026·Issue #026·Braxton Garrett·Pitcher Matchups

    Started @ Minnesota Twins (0W-0L, -.-- ERA)

  • May 14, 2026·Issue #026·Max Meyer·Waiver Wire

Meyer's last outing was a 48% whiff-rate gem. The slider/sweeper combo is now generating top-quartile swing-and-miss across the board. Despite Snelling's IL stint creating Marlins rotation turbulence, Meyer is unquestionably the staff ace. Top-35 SP rest of season.

  • May 14, 2026·Issue #026·Robby Snelling·Injury Report

NEW: 15-day IL with a left UCL sprain. Felt pain during a between-starts bullpen Tuesday after his May 8 MLB debut. MRI confirmed the sprain — often a precursor to Tommy John, though not always. Best-case is 8-12 weeks of rest and rehab; worst-case is TJ surgery and a 14-16 month recovery. Braxton Garrett recalled to take his rotation spot.

  • May 13, 2026·Issue #025·Max Meyer·Pitcher Matchups

    Started @ Minnesota Twins (2W-0L, 2.79 ERA)

  • May 12, 2026·Issue #024·Eury Pérez·Pitcher Matchups

    Started @ Minnesota Twins (2W-4L, 5.01 ERA)

  • May 12, 2026·Issue #024·Pete Fairbanks·Closer Watch

Activated Tuesday and reclaims the closer role per Marlins manager. Faucher / Cabrera / Bender committee converted only 60% of save chances in his absence. Fairbanks was at 1.45 ERA pre-injury with 13 K / 1 BB. Top-15 RP rest of season — claim before tonight's lineup card.

  • May 12, 2026·Issue #024·Robby Snelling·Waiver Wire

Pitcher List's top SP add. Snelling's MLB debut was bumpy (5 IP, multiple walks), but the AAA underlying numbers (1.86 ERA / 2.92 FIP / 40% K-rate in 29 IP) are too good to drop. Marlins' rotation has the open slot through May. Hold/add aggressively in any keeper format; speculative add in 12-team redraft.

  • May 11, 2026·Issue #023·Pete Fairbanks·Stash of the Week

Fairbanks is activated from the IL on Tuesday and per FanGraphs Roto Riteup, 'should resume closing duties this week.' The Marlins ran a committee in his absence (Faucher-Cabrera-Bender) and converted only 60% of save chances, so Fairbanks's role is fully secure on return. He carried a 1.45 ERA at the time of injury with 13 K vs. 1 BB. Top-15 RP rest of season — claim in any league he's still floating before tonight's lineup card hits.

  • May 11, 2026·Issue #023·Pete Fairbanks·Closer Watch

Activated Tuesday and resumes the closer role per Roberts. Marlins ran a committee in his absence and only converted 60% of save chances — Fairbanks is fully secure on return. 1.45 ERA pre-injury with 13 K/1 BB. Top-15 RP rest of season.

  • May 10, 2026·Issue #022·Max Meyer·Waiver Wire

Pitcher List's top pitcher add. Meyer's slider is generating a 44% whiff rate with a .225 xBA and his sweeper sits at 37% — that's two plus secondaries. Career-best 1.10 WHIP and a 17% K-BB rate. Top-40 SP rest of season; rostered in less than half of leagues.

  • May 8, 2026·Issue #020·Robby Snelling·Waiver Wire

Snelling makes his MLB debut tonight at home vs. Washington — the 22-year-old LHP has been the Marlins' best minor-league arm and earns the rotation spot with Chris Paddack DFA'd. Pitcher List has him as the priority SP add. The 10.2% Triple-A SwStr% is a flag, but the fastball/curve combo is legit. Add aggressively.

  • May 8, 2026·Issue #020·Robby Snelling·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Washington Nationals (0W-0L, -.-- ERA)

  • May 7, 2026·Issue #019·Calvin Faucher·Closer Watch

Fairbanks is still out and the Marlins' 9th is a committee with Faucher, Anthony Bender, and Tyler Phillips. Faucher worked the 9th in a loss Sunday but the role rotation continues. Avoid in standard.

  • May 7, 2026·Issue #019·Robby Snelling·Stash of the Week

Snelling makes his MLB debut Friday in Washington and the scouting case is compelling. His 40% K-rate and 56.9% groundball rate at Triple-A is a rare combination — those numbers almost never coexist. The fastball sits 95-96 mph with elite ride, and he tunnels it off a 60-grade, spike-grip 11-to-5 curveball. His 17 combined Triple-A starts across 2025-26 show a 1.46 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 12.1 K/9. The red flag is a 10.2% swinging-strike rate that would be below average against major-league hitters — his overall K-rate relies on weak contact rather than pure swing-and-miss, which is less reliable against better competition. Add now in 14+ team leagues and all dynasty formats. The Marlins need him, which means he'll get a legitimate run regardless of early bumps.

  • May 6, 2026·Issue #018·Eury Pérez·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Baltimore Orioles (2W-3L, 4.46 ERA)

  • May 6, 2026·Issue #018·Max Meyer·Waiver Wire

Meyer has been the under-the-radar SP of the year — 2.68 ERA with above 1 K/IP and a top-30 SwStr%. Pitcher List flagged him as a borderline priority pitcher add. He's a top-30 SP rest of season; in 12-team formats, he should be on rosters by tonight.

  • May 5, 2026·Issue #017·Calvin Faucher·Closer Watch

Closer Monkey notes Faucher worked the 9th in a loss Sunday and may get the same inning with a lead. Tyler Phillips and Anthony Bender share the committee. Hold Phillips if rostered; Faucher is a deep-league add only.

  • May 3, 2026·Issue #015·Tyler Phillips·Closer Watch

Still leading the Marlins' committee with Fairbanks out. Calvin Faucher and Anthony Bender remain in the mix, but Phillips has the highest-leverage usage. Hold if rostered.

  • May 2, 2026·Issue #014·Max Meyer·Pitcher Matchups

Started vs Philadelphia Phillies (1W-0L, 3.30 ERA)
