The second-half schedule sets up well for the Royals.

Roto Riteup: Reynaldo López Is Quietly Pitching Like Atlanta's Best Starter
Reynaldo López returned to the Braves rotation in late June after a stint away for shoulder maintenance, and three starts in, the numbers look genuinely good. He's posted a 12:3 K:BB ratio and allowed just three runs across those outings. In a Braves rotation that has been stitched together by injuries and shuffling, López is suddenly the most consistent arm in the room — a fact the RotoGraphs daily column flagged Thursday as the underreported story heading into the second half.
The command is what stands out. Three walks in three starts against 12 strikeouts represents a level of precision López hasn't shown consistently over his career. The Braves' behind-the-plate framing and the team's elite run support make every start a positive expected-value event. He doesn't need to be a high-strikeout arm to be fantasy-useful in a rotation with this offense behind him.
With Zac Gallen on the IL and Atlanta still fighting for position in the NL, López is penciled in as a rotation regular through at least late July. He's available in the vast majority of standard leagues. He won't get you a 10-strikeout line, but he will give you the ratios and the wins that deeper league managers are actively hunting right now.
