Jake Irvin

Irvin is set to be activated from the 60-day IL for the Nationals — a positive development for Washington's rotation just as they lose James Wood from the lineup. His return gives the Nats rotation depth and could provide fantasy streaming value in favorable matchups.

NEW: 15-day IL with right shoulder strain. Shoulder strains in pitchers typically run 4-8 weeks minimum. Irvin had been a back-end fantasy streamer at best; not a big loss in standard formats. PJ Poulin recalled.
