  • May 10, 2026·Issue #022·IL-60

STATUS UPDATE: Transferred from 10-day to 60-day IL while continuing to recover from offseason ankle surgery. This is procedural — Edman wasn't going to be back before mid-summer anyway. The Dodgers needed the 40-man spot. Drop in 12-team redraft if you've been holding.

  • Jul 26, 2026·Issue #098·38% owned

Edman has been one of the hottest bats in baseball since returning from the IL, hitting .351/.429/.486 with a 171 wRC+ in July. He's lost the stolen base dimension from his Cardinals days — the Dodgers don't run him — but the contact and OBP production are elite. He's hitting ninth against righties, which caps his run-scoring ceiling, but .429 OBP is .429 OBP. Add in 12-team-plus leagues, especially in OBP formats.

  • Jul 15, 2026·Issue #087·22% owned

Has re-emerged as an everyday player in Los Angeles after a slow start, now slashing .350/.435/.483 in his most recent stretch with two stolen bases. His multi-position eligibility (2B/OF) makes him a plug-in fix for injury holes in any format. At 22% Yahoo ownership, he's one of the most undervalued multi-category contributors on the wire entering the second half.

  • Jul 8, 2026·Issue #080·25% owned

Three-position eligibility in the heart of the Dodgers lineup, with a career-best exit velocity confirming this isn't a fluky stretch. His 25% roster rate is a steal in 12-team leagues — this is a must-add if you can get him.

Stash of the Week

Edman returned from a 60-day IL stint (right ankle surgery) and has been electric since: .341/.417/.505 with 2 HR, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 17 RBI, and 2 SB in his first 29 games back. His ankle is clearly healed — his pre-injury speed tool (30 SB/season) may be returning as the second half progresses. He bats in the Dodgers lineup, the best offense in baseball, with multi-position eligibility (2B/3B/OF) giving you maximum roster flexibility. If he's at 44% or below in your league, the window to add him before mainstream managers catch on is closing fast.

  • Jun 16, 2026·Issue #058·38% owned

Edman activates today after spending the entire 2026 season on the 60-day IL following ankle surgery. The plan is 3–4 games per week at 2B, 3B, and LF to start, with his workload building into July. The upside is significant: Edman in the Dodgers' order alongside Ohtani, Freeman, and Betts provides immediate run-scoring opportunity and stolen base potential, while his multi-position eligibility is a roster construction tool in itself. He has been available in most leagues all season — check your wire before Tuesday morning.
