Karros has been one of the quietest hot hitters in the game over the past six weeks — .320/.421/.602 with six home runs since June 12, and nobody has noticed because he plays for the Rockies. The Coors floor is real, but the exit-velocity jump backing this run is documented in prior FanGraphs coverage. At 20% owned, he's a priority add in 14-team-plus leagues for the second half. Even in standard 12-team formats he deserves a look as a CI streamer.

Since June 1, Karros is one of just four MLB hitters with a .400+ OBP and 1.000+ OPS — alongside Yordan Alvarez, Pete Crow-Armstrong, and Shohei Ohtani. The Coors Field park factor inflates numbers, but the hard-hit rate and walk rate hold up independently. Add in 12-team leagues where available.

The Rockies' third baseman has hit his way into a spot that isn't going anywhere. Six hits over his last four games — including a triple and two home runs — with strong underlying Statcast numbers. Even adjusting for Coors, the power is legitimate. He was essentially unowned a month ago.

Karros earned Colorado's Opening Day third-base job after an impressive spring training and has quietly become one of the more reliable corner infielders on the fantasy wire. His last four-game stretch has been exceptional — six hits, two home runs, four RBIs, six runs, and a steal — and his underlying contact quality has improved from his early-season profile. The Rockies' offense and Coors Field guarantee volume, and a 23-year-old posting genuine on-base gains is worth the add before ownership crosses 30% this week.
